Abstract
In this study, the preparation of porous scaffolds from hydroxyapatite (HAp), 13-93 bioactive glass (BG), and functionally graded material (FGM) from both of them have been accomplished using the infiltration technique of polyurethane sponge. The obtained results show that the EDX analysis of FG samples is promoted graded of chemical compositions for HAp and 13-93BG. SEM showed that all prepared scaffolds have a highly interconnected porous structure with specific porosity gradients, about 73±2 %, 83±2 %, and 79±2 % for HAp, BG, and FGM scaffolds, respectively. Finally, the biocompatibility results were investigated in vitro involved the cytotoxicity by using MTT assay; the results demonstrated non-cytotoxic excretion for the scaffolds against the human osteoblast.

Abstract:
316L stainless steel alloys are widely employed in the biomedical application for replacement defect bones for old and young .This study aims to improve the coating layer by applying pulsed electrophoretic deposition PEFD technique by depositing a coating layer from chitosan and hydroxyapatite. The characterization of the layer was done using scanning electron microscope spectroscopy Infrared spectroscope, contact angle and adhesion strength. The results showed that a homogeneous coating layer free of cracks and bubbles was obtained under a deposition time 10 minutes , frequency 50 Hz and a concentration of hydroxyapatite 0.6 g /100 ml with a layer of coating resistant to E- coli bacteria.

Abstract:
Dielectric ceramics are the basic building block of every electronic device, especially for high-temperature applications, and enhancing its dielectric constant, dielectric loss polarization and a high electric breakdown strength plays a key role in producing advanced electronic components. So according to these facts, a new technique is used in this work to improve the dielectric properties of ceramics. This technique involves adding nano and micro (PbZrxTi1-xO3) Lead Zirconate Titanate PZT ceramic powders to the glaze layer of porcelain the dielectric strength for the glazed porcelain showed an increase of up to 30 wt % of the PZT additives in both nano and practical micro. Dielectric constant ԑ", Dielectric loss tangent tan δ and AC.conductivity showed an increase after glazing with nano-PZT higher than in micro-PZT.

Abstract
The advanced ceramic ZTA (biolox) is used in artificial joints. ZTA (biolox) was synthesized and modified by using (0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1) wt. % of CaF2 and MgO. The sol-gel technique was utilized to make a nanocomposite powder using aluminum, zirconium, strontium, and chromium salts. The characterization, physical, mechanical, and biological properties were studied. The results show that CaF2 improved the mechanical properties of ZTA except for hardness, which decreased with increasing CaF2 concentration from ~16.84 to 14.50 GPa. However, MgO has two effects on ZTA properties depending on its concentration: below 0.75 wt.%, the effect enhances ZTA properties, but above this concentration, the effect reverses and causes a significant reduction in properties.
The discussion of the dissertation was conducted in a scientific atmosphere and a master's degree with grade of pass was awarded to the student after the completion of all the corrections that have been decided by the examiners.
