Ali H. Ataiwi was born in Baghdad, Iraq in July of 1953. He received his BSc. in 1976 from Engineering College, University of Baghdad in 1976 and MSc.& PhD. from University of Pierre and Marie Curie, France on 1982 & 1985 respectively. Starting scientific publishing since 1985 and has more than 70 publications in national and international conferences and journals. He was the head (Dean) of Materials Engineering, University of Technology during 2005- 2011 and Dean of Engineering Faculty , University of Kufa, Iraq during 2013-2017.
