Rabab A. (born 20 March 1983), she is from Baghdad, Iraq. She studied Materials Engineering at University of Technology (2005), and completed her master research (2009). She was awarded a doctoral scholarship at Rutgers, the state University of New Jersey from the Iraqi government. There, she completed her master and doctoral research (2018). Her first job position was at University of Technology (2005). Today she is a doctor at University of Technology. Her research experience (Conducted tissue engineering research using novel material science approaches. Activities involved using materials testing devices, analyzing piezoelectric films, and using standard cell culture techniques and assays, including differentiation stains. Cells cultured included mesenchymal stem cells, neural cells, and preosteoblast cells. Projects probed the response of mesenchymal stem cells and terminally differentiated cells to piezoelectric substrates). She is interested in using tissue engineering approaches to stimulate growth and regeneration..
