Mayyadah S. Abed was born in Iraq in March of 1982. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in 2004 and 2008 respectively from the Department of Materials Engineering/University of Technology. From 2009-2014, she joined a Ph.D. study at the same college and complete the PhD research at the University of Missouri-Columbia/USA, in Nanotechnology. Since 2019, she has been an Asst. Prof. of Materials Eng. at the UOT, Iraq. Starting scientific publishing since 2009, she has many publications in national and international conferences and journals
