Abstract:
Dielectric ceramics are the basic building block of every electronic device, especially for high-temperature applications, and enhancing its dielectric constant, dielectric loss polarization and a high electric breakdown strength plays a key role in producing advanced electronic components. So according to these facts, a new technique is used in this work to improve the dielectric properties of ceramics. This technique involves adding nano and micro (PbZrxTi1-xO3) Lead Zirconate Titanate PZT ceramic powders to the glaze layer of porcelain the dielectric strength for the glazed porcelain showed an increase of up to 30 wt % of the PZT additives in both nano and practical micro. Dielectric constant ԑ", Dielectric loss tangent tan δ and AC.conductivity showed an increase after glazing with nano-PZT higher than in micro-PZT.

Abstract:
In this research, the focus was on preparing green implants with biocompatibility and appropriate mechanical properties, in addition to improving their anti-inflammatory properties. Hydroxyapatite was extracted from natural sources (eggshells, fish bones and cockle shells) by calcination method. For the first group, natural hydroxyapatite was mixed with a prepared natural polymer (aloe Vera gel + alginate), stainless steel samples were then coated. For the second group, mastic was added to the coating material. The results proved that the implant has biological properties, as the result of MTT shows an increase in the availability of cells for all samples. The tests also proved that these implants have anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, and the addition of the mastic led to an improvement in the inhibition of bacteria and fungi.

Abstract:
This work aims to examine two types of local industrial waste (sodium silicate and styrene-butadiene) with different concentrations to be utilized as corrosion inhibitors for mild steel in a 3.5% NaCl solution. The corrosion rates obtained from polarization measurements showed good inhibition efficiency, and the optimum concentration of sodium silicate at 3 ml with an inhibition efficiency of 84.5%, and for styrene-butadiene at 4 ml with an inhibition efficiency of 98.5%. The surface analysis by FTIR, FESEM, and XRD showed that these inhibitors contain many functional groups act as corrosion inhibitors, and the absorption and presence of inhibitor particles on the metal surface was also confirmed, forming a smooth protective layer that protects the metal.

Abstract:
316L stainless steel alloys are widely employed in the biomedical application for replacement defect bones for old and young .This study aims to improve the coating layer by applying pulsed electrophoretic deposition PEFD technique by depositing a coating layer from chitosan and hydroxyapatite. The characterization of the layer was done using scanning electron microscope spectroscopy Infrared spectroscope, contact angle and adhesion strength. The results showed that a homogeneous coating layer free of cracks and bubbles was obtained under a deposition time 10 minutes , frequency 50 Hz and a concentration of hydroxyapatite 0.6 g /100 ml with a  layer of coating resistant to E- coli bacteria.
