5. Prof. Dr.Alaa Aladdin Abdel Hamid is an honorable member
As well as evaluating the thesis scientifically by Prof. Dr.Muhammad Mansour Kadhim/ University of Babylon/ College of Materials Engineering and Prof. Dr.Basma Muhammad Fahd/Al-Mustansiriya University/College of Engineering/Department of Materials Engineering, and linguistically byLect.Dr. Naseer Abdul-Hussein Nasser/ University of Technology/ Materials Engineering Department.

Abstract:
The main purpose of this work is treating concrete cracks with autonomous self-healing and manufacturing microcapsules suitable for the previous purpose. This can be achieved through: 1- Using (Nano-SiO2, or Nano-SiC with cement) (as a healing material) in the heart of the manufactured capsule and using (Polystyrene) to encapsulate the microcapsules. 2 - manufacturing microcapsules by Pelletization (Fluidized bed coating). -3Inserting the microcapsules into concrete in different weight proportions.4- Make a small crack and evaluate the efficiency of the self-healing mechanism with these additives in the concrete. 5- Healing products are verified by performing diagnostic tests like SEM, XRD, EDS. The results showed the manufacture of microcapsules of appropriate size compared to other methods. The results of the tests for insert the capsules inside the concrete showed a significant improvement in the mechanical and physical properties. 100% complete incision healing was observed for samples containing microcapsules and by SEM, EDS, and XRD test, the microstructure became more efficient.

After the discussion committee recorded its observations on the thesis, which were divided between explanation, correction and the student’s defense of her message and the discussion ended, the committee decided to evaluate the thesis, and decided to grant the student a master’s degree with a Pass grade.

The two students, Amassi Youssef Majid and Saja Saheb Mansour, from the Department of Materials Engineering / University of Technology, participated in the exhibition of graduation projects for the finished stages, which was held by the University of Technology on Tuesday, 10/19/2021, at ten o’clock in the Creative Students Club. The two researchers participated in their tagged research.
"Preparation and characterization of biopolymer coating for Ti-based implant"
This research won the second place in the Graduation Projects Festival for the Finished Stages, which was held by the University of Technology under the slogan of Technology, Ambition and Creativity. The research was supervised by Prof. Dr. Fatima Jaafar Muhammad.
The exhibition was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Haider Abed Dahd, the respected and the assistant president of the university for administrative affairs, Prof. Hussain Hamid Karim the esteemed Summary.

The aim of study to Enhancing of biological behavior of metallic substrate (Ti- implant ) by biocomposite coating . study effect of adding zirconia (5,10,15)% to alginate polymer matrix composite Properties. Improving the antibacterial Properties by zirconia addition . testing methods include; anti- bacterial activity test, microstructure observation by (FE-SEM), structural observation by (FT-IR) spectra , MTT and the contact angle test  . From the results of experimental work many important points were conclude From the anti- bacterial test results it was found that the addition of zirconia to the alginate gel as a coating layer lead to improve the biological behavior of implant surface and produce high anti – infected surface layer. from MTT biocompatibility test, all samples show considerable cell viability an different  zirconia addition .
