Abstract:
The study aims to improve the osseointegration of 316L stainless steel while maintaining its good mechanical properties, by applying a modified hybrid coating layer of a PMMA-based compound with different amounts of silver NP and biologically active ceramic particles as reinforcing materials on 316L stainless steel by depositing a bonding coating layer by the electroless AgNP method and top coating by electrostatic spray deposition (ESD) with different ratios of (PMMA and NiO). The coating process was successful with multiple layers on the 316L stainless steel substrate and the resistance to corrosion.

Abstract:
This study aimed to improve the surface properties of grey cast iron (GG25) that used in the manufacturing of gates of water regulators. Taguchi/ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) technique was used to design the experimental of the coating process and erosion – corrosion test, microhardness for coated and uncoated samples and particle size distribution test for glass sand that use in erosion test also done. The surface hardness of coated grey cast iron (GG25) can be enhancing about 90% and the erosion resistance was increased by 67%.

Abstract:
The research aimed to develop the properties of denture base made of PMMA by using reinforced natural powders (hazelnut and almond shells). The experimental part included mechanical tests (tensile, max. shear stress, Impact, flexural, hardness and surface roughness). The physical tests were conducted including density, water Absorption and DSC, FTIR analysis for miscibility properties. The results showed that as the weight fraction of reinforcing hazelnut and almond shells increased, the tensile strength, elongation percentage, maximum shear and density all dropped. The flexural strength, Impact strength, hardness and fracture toughness were increased with increasing the weight fraction of reinforcing materials and also surface roughness, water absorption. In FTIR test there is no change in peak magnitude or peak shift for PMMA composite specimens when the addition of hazelnut or almond shell powder. In DSC the glass transition temperature (Tg) of PMMA composites strengthened by hazelnut or almond shell powders increased as the weight fraction increased.

Abstract:
The study aimed to utilize geopolymer, represented by metakaolin material, treated with alkaline solutions (NaOH, KOH, and Na2SiO3), as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional cement and brick for the production of geopolymer bricks used in thermal insulation. Nanomaterials (nano clay, nano zirconia, nano talc) were added to enhance its strength and reduce thermal conductivity. Mechanical and physical tests, as well as other characterization techniques such as FTIR, XRD, FESEM, EDX, and DSC, were conducted after 28 days of curing. The results showed an improvement in compressive strength, Hardness, and a decrease in the thermal conductivity of the manufactured brick samples.
