The Department of Materials Engineering held a tree planting campaign in reference to the letter directed by the Presidency of the University of Technology No 802 dated 9/29/2024, and in implementation of the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 9246 dated 9/22/2024 and on the occasion of National Tree Planting Day, the Department of Materials Engineering held a voluntary tree planting campaign on Tuesday, 10/1/2024 at 10:30 am and under the direct supervision of the respected Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Jawad Kadhum Aliwi, and with the participation of a group of students from the department’s students and instructors to encourage a group of seedlings in the department’s gardens.
