A doctoral candidate from the Materials Engineering Department qualified for the final stage of the thesis competition in three minutes
The doctoral candidate, Nour Ibrahim Ali Jan, from the Department of Materials Engineering, qualified for the Three Minutes Thesis Competition, which concluded on Wednesday, 3/27/2024, where it witnessed wide participation and intense competition among thirty contestants from all university departments, and after continuous efforts, 9 contestants qualified for the stage. Among the finalists is doctoral student Nour Ibrahim, who will have the opportunity to present her thesis
"Fabrication and Characterization of Hybrid Composite Tissue Engineering Scaffold For Bone Growth by Electrospinning"
The main target of this dissertation is remediation of osteoporosis satisfactory، which results from many reasons (e.g. Aging, smoking, heredity...). More than two types of bio-polymers were mixed, in-order to produce scaffold which improves bone growth factor without negative side effects.
