Abstract
The aim of the research is to study the capacitive properties of graphene with polymer materials. The work included the preparation of graphene in two different methods (two-dimensional graphene and three-dimensional graphene structure) with the preparation of two different types of nanocomposites (graphene/epoxy) and (graphene/polyurethane) by weight (1 wt%, 2 wt%, 3% wt, and 4 wt%) all prepared graphene materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Raman Spectroscopy. The (LCR) results showed that the addition of graphene to the polymer enhances the capacitive properties due to the graphene nanosheets resemble a micro capacitor was composed of nano capacitors.
After the discussion, the committee recorded its notes on the thesis, which were split between explanation and correction, and the student’s defense of his work and the discussion ended. The committee decided to evaluate the thesis and grant the student a master’s degree with a full grade.
